Marcus Axelryd will join the partnership of disputes firm Norburg & Scherp. He is a former co-founder and partner of disputes firm Frank Advokatbyrå. Marcus Axelryd holds a Master of Laws degree from the University of Uppsala in Sweden and has also studied law at the Minnesota Law School in the USA. Marcus started his career in 1999 as an M&A and disputes lawyer at Vinge law firm in Stockholm. In 2006, he co-founded disputes firm Frank Advokatbyrå in Stockholm.
Marcus is very experienced counsel in both Swedish court litigation and domestic and international arbitration under a variety of rules. He also acts as arbitrator in Swedish and international arbitration. Marcus is particularly experienced in disputes concerning M&A and corporate law, energy, tech and finance. As an example, Marcus acted as counsel in the damages litigation concerning the collapsed HQ Bank, one of the largest civil cases ever before Swedish courts. He is also very experienced in administrative litigation in the energy sector.
